The studio

A small Melbourne studio with a stubborn love for handmade games.

We started in a warehouse off Lonsdale Street in 2016 with two programmers, one artist, and a shared refusal to ship anything that felt cheap on a phone.

Every QuestSentinelForge title begins with a single mechanic we can't stop playing. We prototype on real devices from day one, because a game that feels great on a monitor can fall apart the moment it lives in a commuter's hand on the Route 96 tram.

We own every layer — engine tooling, art direction, original scores, and live-ops. No off-the-shelf template kits, no recycled asset packs. When you download one of our games, you're holding thousands of small decisions made by people who sit two desks apart.

What we do

From first prototype to a live game in players' hands.

Four ways we work — as our own studio and as a partner for teams who need mobile expertise.

Sentinel's Ascent is the only game that survived my last three phone upgrades. The controls are so precise I forget I'm playing on glass. Finished 400+ runs and still finding new tower layouts.

Tram Line 96 made me cry on an actual tram. As a Melburnian the details are uncanny — right down to the announcement chimes. This studio clearly loves the city it's from.

Quiet Orbit is my wind-down game every night. No ads shoved in my face, no timers nagging me. Just a beautiful little puzzle and a soundtrack I ended up buying separately.

Bought Forge & Fable expecting a time-waster and lost a whole rainy weekend to it. The crafting has real depth and the offline mode actually works properly on flights.
